- ZmPP2Ac-2 and ZmWEE1 may regulate phosphorylation and subcellular localization of ZmTE1, thus impacting cell division, cell elongation, and plant height.
- ZmPP2Ac-2 is homologous to the phosphatases AtPP2A-C3 and AtPP2A-C4 which promote auxin polar transport by increasing PIN1 polar localization through dephosphorylation.
