  • Together, these results suggest that Hap4 of ZmPHYB2 is likely to represent a favorable haplotype under selection for early flowering during modern maize breeding.
  • Our analyses of the haplotype profiles of several SVs in 137 ILs revealed their contribution to the altered expression patterns and phenotypic differentiation, including the SVs in GL15 for kernel row number, SVs in the promoter of ZmPHYB2 for flowering time, and SVs in ZmPYL10 for plant height and ear height.
