  • ZmJAZ14 inhibited ZmEREB92–ZmMYC2 action by physically interacting with both proteins in a competitive manner. Our findings elucidate the regulatory mechanism of MTP accumulation upon F. graminearum by ZmEREB92, ZmMYC2, and ZmJAZ14.
  • These results demonstrated that ZmJAZ14 interacted with both ZmMYC2 and ZmEREB92 to suppress the transcriptional activation of ZmMYC2–ZmEREB92 on MBGs.
