- We selected two independent CRISPR/Cas9-induced mutant lines for both genes, named ATR-A and ATR-B, representing ZmATR mutants, and ATM-A and ATM-B, representing Zmatm mutants.
- Both ZmATR lines showed a reduction of root length between 40% and 50% compared with the untreated plants, whereas WT plants did not show a significant reduction of root growth.
