  • ZmSTK1 and ZmSTK2|stk3, expressed at late stages of pollen development, regulate maize pollen development with additive effect.
  • ZmSTK1 or ZmSTK2|stk3 mutation exhibited severe pollen transmission deficiency, which thus influenced pollen fertility.
