  • RppM is probably closely linked or even allelic to other SCR-resistance genes identified on chromosome 10S. Among them, Rppp25 is the only SCR-resistance gene that has been fine mapped to a 40-kb region based on the B73 RefGen_v2 reference genome corresponding to a 96.5-kb region (Chr10:2,651,981–2,748,521) on the B73 RefGen_v4 reference genome.
