  • Water-deficit stress triggered an increase in the expression of VvPLT1 at the fully mature stage, allowing increased polyol uptake into pulp cells.
  • The GFP fluorescence was clearly seen in the periphery of tobacco cells, confirming that VvPLT1–GFP localized at the plasma membrane.
