  • Wheat cis-zeatin-O-glucosyltransferase cZOGT1 interacts with the Ca2+-dependent lipid binding protein TaZIP to regulate senescence.
  • cZOGT1 interacts with TaZIP in wheat to regulate senescence by affecting CKs and ABA.
  • TaZIP, which also contains a CaLB domain, was related to ABA content in our study. The ABA content decreased in TaZIP-ABD lines, in which the TaZIP gene was knocked out, but the content of different CKs showed no significant differences between the TaZIP-ABD and WT lines.
  • The suppression of TaZIP expression led to reduced ABA content.
