Functional Descriptions
- The reverse-transcription quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR) analysis showed that the TaARF15 homoeologs were expressed constitutively in various wheat tissues but were preferentially expressed in stems and young spikes, which may be related to the transport and distribution of auxin
- The TaARF15 homoeologs share the same three domains including a DNA-binding domain (DBD), a middle region (MR), and a C-terminal dimerization domain (CTD), suggesting they might share similar biological functions.
- TaARF15 homoeologs (TaARF15-A1, TaARF15-B1, and TaARF15-D1) in wheat. OE of TaARF15-A1 delays leaf senescence, while downregulation of TaARF15 by RNA-interference (RNAi) or knockout of this gene by CRISPR-Cas9-mediated genome editing accelerates maturation.
