  • Overexpression of cSlCHR1 in Arabidopsis does not affect growth and development.
  • Constitutive expression of the tomato cSlCHR1 gene has no significant impact on vegetative growth and development of Arabidopsis plants and also does not seem to affect the response of Arabidopsis to adverse environmental conditions.
  • Overexpression of cSlCHR1 in tomato results in considerably compacter growth.
