  • Scanning electron microscopy analysis reveals that OsPUB43 modulates the grain size mainly by inhibiting cell proliferation in the spikelet hull.
  • Phenotypes of large grain are observed in OsPUB43 mutants, whereas overexpression of OsPUB43 results in short grains.
