Functional Descriptions
- The auxin efflux carrier genes, CsPIN1b (Csa1G025070) and CsPIN3 (Csa5G576590).
- On the basis of the canalization hypothesis, we found that CsPIN3, but not CsPIN1b, plays an essential role in auxin export during bud outgrowth in cucumber.
- The expression of CsPIN1b and CsPIN3 displayed the same trend, suggesting that there may be a dosage effect of auxin on lateral branch suppression.
