- AtTPK1/2-KO — These double knock-out mutants are thiamine auxotrophs that have a seedling lethal phenotype unless they are supplied with exogenous thiamine pyrophosphate (TPP) through a spray-based application. In addition, these mutants have 2-fold higher levels of thiamine and 32-fold lower levels of TPP than wild type plants.
